I have a big barn with an almost flat roof, i use it to store farming equipment.
It is about 6 to 6,5 meters high.
On this barn i would like to put home built wind turbines.
It's a really big barn so i can easly fit a lot of wind turbines on it.
I think i can fit about 30 turbine's easy.
i was thinking about using car alternators or 12v DC motors to generate 12 volt to charge a big 12 volt battery bank.
I already checked wind direction and wind speed.
Usual wind speed is about 3 bft.
I don't want the rotor diameter to get too big, so would 1,5 to 2 meters (5 to 6,5 feet) be big enough?
Would it be possible to make 0,5 to 1 gWh per day?
Or will i need bigger rotor diameters for this?

Hi welcome to the forum.
Car alternators make poor generators for wind mills.
Roof mounted is not a good choice as the noise inside the barn will drive you insaine, but more importantly the barn will cause a turbulence in the wind which is bad for windmills.
Windmills work best in clean air flow.
30 turbines is pure madness and a couple of well built and good designed turbines will be a much better way to go.
Otherwise you will be spending every day fixing them or picking up the pieces scattered across the yard.
You dont say if you are intending on VAWT's or HAWT's and for the power you want for good wind conditions i would say go the HAWT.
Your figures you quote dont make much sense to me 3 bft...??? and 1gWh a day...????
There is a mass amount of information on the forum that you might be best to hunt through some, as the answers you receive might not fit you application an you could find other information more fitting to you in previous posts.

1gWh per day is 8.3 times the maximum out put of this to give you an idea of size.

In that case the 1.5 to 2m size might be pushing the friendship a little to far.
Time to have a reality check i think.
Or a hell of a lot bigger barn

I believe the bft refers to the beaufort windspeed scale.
Must be a really big barn, as The commercial mills down the road from me are 1MW ea, and these have 50m rotors. 1gWh I assume you mean is 1GWh, or 1000MWh. This is the power requirement of a small city.
