Hi all, From the sound of it the farmers in China are not treated much better then here in Australia. I think all farmers need to get together and do a hippy sit in, I think people might get very hungery very quickly. If people say farmers are rich and windge about getting a hard time they should work the hours we do. There was some expert that worked out farmres wages and they get around $0.80 per hour. Tell me would you work for that. I think farmers are going the way of the dodo bird. I live in a farming area and there are no young farmers taking over farms as why would you. Most of the farms are now chopped up in to 50 or 100 ac and sold as hobby farms. These farms do not produce anything they just push up land value up and make the rates high. I do not know were Australia is headed but it is not good. Sorry this is not a wind post but.. I think all farmer need to get together and unite and say enoght is enough............ Have a think were does you food come from............

Hi Andrew

It has always been that way unfortunately, but the biggest problem is the parasite multi national companies and markets that screw the farmer down to no profit and then make 100% profit on their produce, and think its just smart business.

Now the farms are being sold to overseas investors and just wait till they get control of the food chain, it will be like the old days where you worked all day to buy a loaf of bread.

Farmers need to get together and direct market their products and tell the big profit boys to go to hell.

All the best

Bob
