Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Everyone,
I can not say that I have made progress yet or not. I have been trying differant things with the mill. it's sort of like "you have to know how to fly", to be able to get this thing to work like I think it should...if that helps describe things better.
Right now I have a 12 volt starter motor that I use to spin the thing up to speed and then it runs ok on its own, I'm thinking of changeing over to a 2 hp 240 volt motor and maybe useing it to charge things once its up to speed.
The big thing (or problem) is getting the mill up to speed and then back down to zero rpm after I am finished as I have a low speed "wobble" in the main rotor. its really hard on the disc break. I don't run this thing every day, just when I know that I will be around to keep an eye on it.
