Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

We've put together a web site connecting people all over the world who are using small wind turbines to inspire people as well as to bring power to places where there is none.
Have a look at the site and if you want to be on the world map then let us know your location and website or other info. There are no locations in Australia marked on the map as yet.

Great idea, I am without wind at the moment but hopefully in a few weeks I can add my spot here in Australia.
What the hell I will have it up soon so have added my location.Edited by Madness 2011-11-07There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

OK thanks, we did not have the location before. However we also need more than just an email address and a location to make this useful to visitors to the site.
Some relevant information about you, your turbine or your project on a web link is needed. The map like the rest of the site is to help people connect by giving them information about other people with similar aims.Hugh Piggott

I have put Glenn on the map now, since he has given a web url. Thanks for the other submissions but I am not sure how to use them.Hugh Piggott
Dear Mr. Piggott,
Thanks to your valuable information I am now constructing my first mill, unfortunately we have limited resources and as such my first attempt is an ugly monstrosity that has so far been able to make my meter register current just by hand! I am using just ceramic magnets and don't have any idea what sort of power they have. I will visit your website and add my locale, once again thank you for all the information.
