Below are some blade extender's I made up to make a 6'sweep blade out of a 4' blade.
They seem to be working with the wind we have at present.
The extender is made of Aluminum 1''x1/4 '' x 16''

Below are two pictures of the mill running at night with the deicer's on.

We don't have a data logger on this mill to record the increase but the dump load has been tripped more than we ever seen it before a 12 volt system.
