Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Just a important point with "taper-lock" fittings ...
Make sure you use the correct bore size to your shaft..
Otherwise "BANG" you WILL break the cast-iron taper-lock fitting inside.
Been there done that

Bruce is quite right, this is very important.
The taper lock bushings cannot be either opened up or closed down to fit anything other than the exact designed shaft size without breaking. Cheers, Tony.

Gents, (Sorry for pixs being upside down ????)First pix posting-----
Found the "handle" to this --I think We'll see what happens.
What I'm trying to show is the Hub and Servo mating. The Hub is the Powermax hub assy and shows the nut(on the table) that screws into the end of the shaft. The Machinist welded the nut to a female cylinder with thread matching the servo shaft.
Intentions are to drill the edge of the nut and "safety wire" the nut when tight to the hub at some point.
