Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.
This is not right. Shouldn’t that be spinning, instead of being a perching post? I also added a pic of both windmills together.

oh no if they can any way get inside the weather cover they will build a nest in there.
I had a gen inside a 10'' pvc and they built nests for two yrs in it there is now a different turbine on the mill and all they have is a piece of 2 x 3 tubing and
the sparrows are trying to build there!
I even put up a house for them and they like the turbine better.
if you have a cooling fan on the back look out they willplugg it up with nesting.

Hello MKHPhillips,
What a great project you have going there mate, now every attempt I had with plastic blades have failed so can I suggest you go look at Gizmo's article on making wood blades using a chainsaw.I'm sure once you see how simple it really is you'll forget you ever made plastic blades.......
