Can i run a Windturbine direct to a 12v 2500Watt Inverter to test the mill? And dump any load buy leaving the Inverter switched on and plugging a 240v light globe or a heater in to dump the load straight in there?

I have the other proper equipment such as to charge batteries and 10,000watt 440 amp with a dump load control box, just havent been able to afford a fuse and a 12v 500 watt dump to heat water up with yet.

Hi Jaffasoft

Is there going to be a battery in this circuit?

Your typical inverter has a input voltage range that it will function within. Too high or too low and the inverter will set of an alarm and shut down. A windmill supplies a wildly changing output voltage, so a battery is needed to dampen down the voltage changes.

But other than that, I dont see why you couldn't load up the inverter output to help control the charging of the supply battery. Just keep a close eye on it.

You should still include some way to shut down the windmill electrically or mechanically.
