Hi Peoples

I've just started my second F&P rewire. I decided I would grind the terminal post's down to make a neat finish. When I did this the grinder made contact with two of the wires - just enough to take the dark copper colour off.  Unfortunately they are under the initial start of the rewire.

What can I do reinsulate these wires?

Thanks, Greg

Hi Greg

Go and buy ( steal from the missus ) some nail polish. Its the same sort of stuff and works a treat. If you have nicked the wire deeply, ie took a chunk out of it, use your soldering iron and solder the wire back up to its original thickness before applying the nail polish.

Glenn.

Thanks Glen, I thought I'd really stuffed it - neat trick.
