To complete Downwind's schematic I am asking what I have forgotten here:

Add the following:

1. A brake across the 3-phase input from the mill
2. Fuse to load from battery
3. The suggested DC SS relay for dump load in preference to a relay with mechanical contacts

Through a Google search I also noticed a blocking diode should the mill feed into a common DC bus fed by other sources, e.g., generator, PV array, etc.
