Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Interesting thread, been following with interest. I`m a skeptic, weather bureaus cannot get short range weather forecasts exactly right, ask a farmer? they deal with the weather constantly.
MOBI and other posts have got me thinking of wind turbine health effects, I`d dissmissed them completely before, just thought this type of complaints were from wind farm knockers. Some of the complaints probably are. My opinion is changing, but unfortunately reading conflicting info doesn`t help, lets face it you can find info that supports all views, especially on the net.
Have a feeling if you follow the least popular view your closer to the money. Some Americian indian cultures had a "contra" whose views were always not popular but he was supported and respected by his tribe. In our culture, throughout history we have had them too. A relatively modern one comes to mind, read Alan Turing`s life story.

In my opinion, this is the wrong forum to be discussing Industrial Wind Turbines (IWT).
If the discussion is to continue, and I believe that it is in the interests of humanity that it does, then it should be given its own thread e.g. Industrial
Wind Turbine Discussion Forum.
It is clear that the gist of my earlier postings in this thread have been overlooked or misread.
Two things...1) for the doubters, come and spend a few months in my home
and 2) If a specific thread is started as I suggest above, I am more than happy to elaborate on my situation.
Remember, I am a turbine host, I derive a great deal of my retirement income from the turbines and I have been living in the wind farm for 8 years...and...have been suffering previously unexplained health issues which incidentally do not occur when away from my home. I was instrumental in getting the local (first in SA) wind farm "off the ground".

MOBI, start another thread. For me I wish to hear you elaborate. You are there, you are a participant. Your words so far have been enough to get this doubter rethinking. We cannot live in your shoes but you can help make our ears listen. We come from the land downunder.
