I'm new to this. I just got appears to be new smart drive stator and cover. but this one is a 27 pole configuration. can this be used for a wind generator and how do I wire it for 24 volt setup.

Gday John, 27pole .. are you sure its a f n p, do you have a pic to show us? spin it up on a shaft to see what voltage you get at say 50 rpm to start with.let us know what voltage you get, hard to awnser your questions without more details, Fred
