Recently I've been doing some testing with Power Factor Correction Capacitors and got up to 2.75 W per RPM peak. Peak output from a single stator so far is 1800 W at 650 RPM.
Did comparison tests today from 80 RPM up to 600 RPM to check the difference in the efficiency of stators connected to a Cap Doubler and with Power Factor Correction caps.
The stator that was configured with Power Factor Correction caps had a 33 % power transfer gain over another stator using a Capacitor Doubler.
Stator setup correctly with Power Factor Correction caps will give the best results by far. I no longer have any interest in the Cap Doubler.
This graph shows what happens on a wind turbine when a Cap Doubler is used as a substitute for a proper MPPT system and directly connected to batteries. Big power loss, at upto 33% on the red line! Black is the true power curve
