Hiya

It passed over Innisfail yesterday morning, did a fair bit of damage to buildings and has flattened the local crops. Innisfail is about 700km north of me, but we still copped some rain and and winds. They say the wind gusts in Innsifail reached 290kmh. There is a wind farm near there, I wonder how well it handled the cyclone.

We are watching a new cyclone, Wati. Its about 600km east north east and heading towards the coast.

I also heard the big Stanwell wind farm on Windy Hill near Tully was hit head on by the cyclone, but survived with no damage.
