I have a deadd jumpbox that has a charge controller in it. can it be used to control the charging from my mill. it normally has a input of 14-17 volts at 300-900 maps.. it has a auto shutoff at 14'6 volts.and a votl meter with it.

Not much good for a windmill I'm afraid. It should, in theory, work for a small solar panel as a trickle charger, but nothing to serious. The 300 to 900mA rating mean its only good for approx 4 to 10 watts. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

RATS I was hoping that someone has looked at these and could give advice on possibly changing some of the electroics out to make it work. these things are all over. people throw them away because they forget to keep them charged.the batteries cost almost double the cost of the whole thing. I had 6 that people thuraway. i used most of them to fix damaged ones that some of our police officers damaged will they were in their trunks. |
