Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi all,
well it's been a while since I've posted anything on this forum.
I built a turbine maybe 15 years ago with much help from the guys on the back shed. Mounted it on a 6.5 Meter tower and watched in amazement as it turned and created power to feed my batteries. It's been going great for all those years, weathering many storms that came thru our area of northern N.S.W,. And we've had some beauties. At time I thought it was going to self destruct, but always survived!

It's configured for 24v and output is 500w in a good breeze.

But time marches on,  and so we have decided to sell our home after being here for just on 30 years.

So,  We're clearing everything out, including the mill.
Is not for sale, rather I'm giving it away to anyone who would like to keep it going in  another part of the country.  Everything included. Mounting plate, mast x 2, Jin pole, S.S guy wires and h. duty brackets to suit.  wiring, Dual fnp stators and rotors. SS cowling to keep it dry. Here's some pics

Main mount and electrical box

Mast pivot bracket

Jin pole mount. Jin pole is 3 metres in length

Gen section with cowling and nose cone

masts with  mounting shaft and slip rings

if it aint broke dont fix it!!
