given Round mags and coils,
If you are designing a 9 coil machine using 2" dia mags .
Multiply 2 x 7 and get 14 " dia rotors.
also if you are designing a 12 coil machine using 1.5" dia mags.
multiply 1.5 by 9 predicts 13.5 inch dia rotors.
same goes for a 15 coil machine multiply magnet dia. by 11.
same goes for 18 coils , multiply magnet dia by 13.
Using this method i have been able to predict a very close figure .
The rotors come out a tad on the side of being larger than needed , but not by much..
Can someone confirm this relationship for me using a machine that they have built?

Hi willib,
The magnet rotor size on my design comes out at 12inches for 12 2 inch round disks with 9 coils. Power output has been measured at 3kW for a 3m blade dia.
You normally build around what materials are readily available, that all the components will fit to.
Oztules has 14inch magnet rotors on his mill.
