can anyone share their experiences with negotiating the best buy back rates for grid feed wind power ?

across australia there are variations in rate for residential producers ( under 10 kW generally )

http://www.energymatters.com.au/government-rebates/feedintar iff.php

does anybody know what the big wind farm guys are getting ( who may have connections and subsidies from govt )

talking systems of 30 kW plus

30KW systems are lucky to get the rates we pay for power

Sorry, forgot to add that utilities get about 3 cents more than that through the production tax credit from the US gov.

kind of grateful for getting 60 cents per kwhr here up to 10 kW in NSW . just a pity they couldnt have also paid 40 cents or so for power above 10 kW , in Canberra they go up to 30 kW

Thats the state where the bloody pollies live though, so everything must be better than the rest of the country.
Also its a cold miserable place with pollies everywhere so I guess its an incentive to "normal people" to go live there
