That would be a 42 pole 60 series, the most common type found these days. It looks to be in good condition.

You must have micrometers for eyes, How the hell did you know what series it was?

Hi Pete,

I have also noticed that the 60 series use a darker coloured enamel on the wire, similar to the 100 series. The 80series is more yellow.

They also stand out because of their messy windings compared to 80s & 100s

Hey come on guy you are draining Gizmos force

It just goes to show some of you have had just to much to do with F&P stators, that you can tell from a blury picture.

It might be worth mensioning that the series 60 relates to around 0.6mm dia. wire used for the coil windings, and hence S80 = 0.8mm wire and S100 = 1.0mm wire.

This is the method of refference to each stator or series.

May the force be with you!

Hey Pete, perhaps your glasses are out of date

With my new glasses I could see right away this was a 60 series F&P. I should mention that I own one 80S, one 60S and have never seen a 100S

Hi Klaus,

How was the trip?

I think you must be using the " old bugger glasses" i sent you.

This must prove i dont have the force with me.
