Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I understand that the company that built the Skystream 3.7 is no longer in business. I had one of them installed 2 years ago on a 45' tilting tower. The company that set it up for me also installed what is called a skylevel for checking the level of the tower. Apparently they took the USB adapter for connecting the cat 5 cable to my laptop computer with them. I tried one that I had bought at a local Radio Shack but it would not work. What is so special about this adapter? Where can I get another one?

Most times you need an access code or a interface devive the communicates with the software in the master device, and that normally means you pay $$$$.
