Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Gentle Men I am trying to build an “Induction Generator” using a three phase Asynchronous Electric Motor & need a little advice on how to connect the generator to the three phase 480-volt Grid?
The information I have from the internet doze not explain how to wire the generator in to the Grid?
The information I found on the internet is not clear about how to prevent the motor/ generator from running all of the time & consuming grid power, even when there is no wind or low wind, & still be able to connect to the grid when there is sufficient wind and the motor is generating power?
Thanks for any information or suggestions. Best Regards Wes LeMarr
