Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Bruce downunder2;
Your windows directory is probably choked up and needs a good cleaning.
Download a registry cleaner.
run Scandisk and Defragment Hardrive You will find the programs, in, START- PROGRAMS- ACCESSORIES- SYSTEM-TOOLS If you have windows xp or newer operating system, the program Scandisk is not available. Delete all obsolete programs, games or other programs you never use.
Remove Media players Icons and other trash from the Task bar. Too many programs on the start up menu are Using up your Ram memory.
You may have downloaded a free program from the internet that has a bug in it, Note;
The Windows Explorer is a program that is the main operating system in your Computer,
It searches for the files that the system needs to operate as well as finding the files
that you click on. It needs Ram memory to operate. a corrupted Registry will use up memory.
I am not very smart on computers but this is a few things to try good luck.

It may be choked with to many cookies, not the biscuit variety as mine played up and I deleted the cookies and it was OK then.

All the best
