Googled for "electric car batteries nano" and read about those new nano lithium titanate batts. Also fell into a company called Nanosolar with its printed solar panels with the claim of reducing the cost of solar by one tenth.

If you have the time, do likewise. But, please, no personal criticism for possibly leading you astray as some of the claims may be commercial hype but it is good to read all sorts of companies, countries, etc. are chasing around like a blue-bottomed fly to achieve the holy grail of better batts. meaning better electric cars and better PV.
