Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

It is kinda sad that Dick Smith stores are not supportive of the electronics hobbyist anymore.
I have found over the years my most widely used data information has been the back data section of the DS catalogue.
Each year there was data on new chips and circuit ideas of how to use them.
There is always a DS catalogue on the bench here, for that quick reference of a tranie pin out or a look a 555 or opto etc.
I have collection from mid 80s through to the last issue they printed. Some years are missing throughout and many are well worn and rather tatty now.
I have considered for some time it would be nice not to loose all the data that has been printed in the data section of DS over the years.
I would like to scan it to pc file but the print is small and the background colour makes it hard as well its a magazine.
Problem "B" is the mags are now a little worse for ware in a lot of cases.
Is there any good solutions on scanning the pages, and is anyone else prepared to scan an issue and contribute to a data archive.
An issue or 2 each and it would grow fast. ( Im sure you still have them )
