Well
after dealing with banks the last couple of weeks to sell one house and buy another I am 100% convinced the whole crisis was caused by ING.
stuff up after stuff up, the latest was the simplest but the most comical.
they actually told their lawyers to send the loan paperwork to the address that we're buying....
did they think we were already there?
these people really are dumb as dog doo and so wrapped up in expensive red tape they cant do anything right.

our normal Bank was able to solve most of the ING issues easily and without fuss

Its because corporations have been breeding the current work force for years.

A people just smart enough to push buttons and fill out paperwork, but dumb enough to not realise they're getting screwed over while their world is sold off from under them.

We can't have a thinking population, or Chairman Rudd would be swinging from a tree by now.

BANKS: Can't live with them, can't live without them!!

Actually the commonwealth bank has made a level of improvement to the service at branches.
A while ago i actually got asked if i needed some help as i was depositing a cheque...

I don't think ALL the crisis was caused by ING. They had help on just about every continent. I'm glad to see some people on the other side of the world see what's going on too. I still know a few people here that don't use banks...just like in the great depression in the US, they use shoe boxes under their beds.

That's part of the shell game. It confuses people and when they get tired of playing, they will sign about anything.

Today was another eye opener
paid the $250 substitution of security fee when we settled the last place (2 weeks ago)
so I crossed it off the loan contract as an applicable fee.
A: "you and Melanie will need to initial that", and we wont be able to proceed to settlement until ING confirm that thats OK with them.

Karl: Are we still scheduled for settlement on 15th

A: we cannot arrange settlement day until ING has confirmed this is OK (to drop the $250 fee), that may take upto 48hrs. then if there is still a time available we will attempt to organise the other parties a 5mins notice.

Karl: you must be Joking, you will risk MY MONEY by not arranging the settlement until you get an email?
Can you ring your agent at ING?

A: No we have the same call center access to ING as you, you therefore will need to do it.

Karl: but you wont deal with a 3rd party. (ie ME as you represent ING)

A: After you have spoken to them they will call us.

Karl: leaves in disgust......
