Dear County Lines

Below are several web sites that have information on wind and solar that the do yourselfer can get the right information to suit his situation this is in regards to an article in your vol31,no31 issue page 7 titled more on wind power .
They cover both on and off grid installations.with the ever rising cost of commercial power you will see more off grid systems.
It looks like every issue we get we see that Midwest Energy is in front of the Michigan Public Service Commission wanting to increase rates one way or the other!
The wind and solar units may take some years to pay a return on them selves but what is the local power company going to give you in say 20 yrs?
These web sites the person can find the correct answers and not some biased smoke screen to keep you on grid!
Wind & Solar is not for every one but the ones it is it would be a big help on the big picture.
If Midwest Energy would have contacted some of these people in the beginning they wouldn't have to be changing out all those wind turbines that don't work and dont put any Useful Energy into the grid system
