Hi all

I have melted my LG stator winding on my project and need to order a new set of windings and need a part number of the winding assembly, it came from a LG top loader 7.5 KG washing machine, does any one have a intact one to get a part number off to save me from the parrot like spare parts dealers that can't do anything without a part number.

All the best

Have you tried checking out garbage tips or scrap metal dealers or even appliance repairers? Could pick one up from them.

Hi Grub

I have spread the word around to the repair shops but no luck, not many of these machines sold in my area, and a trip to the recycling depot in Brisbane was unproductive, just the cost of petrol to go to Bris a couple of times costs as much as a new motor.

I will keep looking.

All the best

The part number for the stator to suit a LG WT-R801 is 4471FA1994D.
There are other models with the direct drive motor but this is for one of them.

Bob,
can you get a part number? or maybe a serial number off the machine it came from?
I have bought from these places and they usually have the parts.
www.applianceparts.com & wwww.appliancepros.com Otherwise if it isnt too hard I would change the generator to a Smartdrive from randy burnmeister (www.randysworkshop.com ) randy's alot cheaper and faster service he's a good fella
Take care

Hi gary

Thanks for the suggestions, I do not know the machine model it came from as I bought it on Fleabay and any numbers on the stator are cooked off due to the fire, i want to persist with it due to the fact that I have made a neo rotor that wasn't on it when it got fired up so want to salvage the project as considerable expense went into the neo rotor. Unfortunately freight from the US makes it impossible to buy from there, this morning I got a quote for magnets for another project of $94 dollars and freight at $425 so that's the problem down under.

All the best

Bob,
Try Allfixelectrical on ebay, found they give top service. They do not list a LG motor on their store but they may be able to source such.
We come from the land downunder.
