I know there are some members that work with very hot metals. I put together an app that measures temperature with the camera's lens using black body radiation. The range is 1000F-2700F in 100F increments. It is called Thermal Light and it is for the iPhone.

I would appreciate any feedback or suggestions to make it better.

Now all you need is some way to stop idiotic people putting the iPhone in the Hot metal.
