Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello Fellows, While expieramenting with a 24 volt bicycle motor used to turn a cheap treadmill motor, I dicovered that it was capable of producing 21.4 volts. I do not know what amperage was coming out.I know the motor requires 24 volts,4.5 amps to run.I would like to hook up this "generator" to a battery bank, then use the bank to power a 1500 watt inverter. My plan is to use 1 of the inverters outlets to run to the 24 volt charger to keep the motors batts charged, and still be able to use the other oulet to power something else.Does this seem feasible to you fellows?
