Hey guys. I've seen a few questions posted by newbies that show very little understanding of the basic electronic laws, measurement, components, etc. This isn't anyone's fault, we all start somewhere, there are some discussions on this forum that I dont even try to understand ![]() So I'm looking for some web sites that we could point newbies to. Does anyone know of any "electronics for beginners" type of web sites? Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |

Glenn, A page about "divisor resistive voltage" would be handy. I had problems in past with this... Hobbit name: Togo Toadfoot of Frogmorton Elvish name: Mablung Miriel Beyound Arduino Lang |

Hi Glenn, I found a link some time ago to a US navy course and have the first 4 files in pdf format on my harddrive. I have searched for for the link but I think this is it but updated. http://www.constructionknowledge.net/training_and_assessment s/electrical_training.php or similar at http://www.phy.davidson.edu/instrumentation/NEETS.htm Well worth studying if you are a beginner like me but "The Sailors creed" at the beginning made me gag. Bernie the Bolt I'd rather be sailing! |
