This is Roger's photo of a 4mH inductor from a 3kw aerosharp. If I'm after a 2mH inductor, with double the current rating, would it be ok to connect the 4 wires in parallel? And if so, I imagine I would connect white and red together and blue and black together. Is that right? ![]() |

I don't know what's in that choke or how it's wound. But in general yes, given two inductors of the same value, paralleling the inductors will halve the inductance and give you a higher current capability. NANO Inverter: Full download - Only Hex Ver 8.1Ks |

Ok I think I have to connect red and blue together and white and black together as the two coils are wound in different directions around the core. |
