Hello. ![]() I'm referring to simple Ni-MH 9v batteries from a reputable source. NOT the ebay or AliExpress ones. I get mine from Jaycar: LINK... Standard charge is 20mA for 15 hours. I have mine setup for about 10mA 24/7. This basically keeps them float-charged for when needed, but I expect there is a limit to this, and I expect it is several years, but eventually, the battery MUST start to fail, so is there any way to calculate that? I am only interested in a rough figure - something I can use as a reference point for when they need to be replaced. NONE of these batteries are EVER fast-charged, they are only trickled/floated. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |
