Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Poida, I had one of those sort of regulators once. They are very cheap, the back cover is very thin aluminium and that is supposed to be the heatsink. They don't last long. That is amazing that they are passing the exact same regulator off as 10 amp and 100 amp. I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks for the link to the video. Pete

On a similar Chinesium note. I have an EGO battery chainsaw, It has a 7.5 amp hour battery and is great to use. I baulked at paying nearly $400 kfor a spare battery so bought a knockoff battery from ebay. The new battery is supposed to be 9 amp hour, but it weighs about half what the genuine 7.5 amp hour ego battery weighs. And lasts about half as long too. Again you get what you pay for, the supposed 9 amp hour battery was around $150 so as it is really about 4 amp hours the price was OK. At least it gives me a bit more time to finish what I am cutting Pete
