Hi everyone. I'm currently wanting to install a wind turbine and battery bank into my house. I'm willing to do as much of the work myself such as building the turbine. On the subject of charge controllers I was wondering what people would recomend for a DIY one? I really liked the one which was on this site a few months back which had the LCD screen and was wondering if anyone has modified the code/hardware to include additional logging such as total amp/watt hours from source, total amp/watt hours load or other information which can be transfered to a pc via USB or SD card. Sorry if this has already been discussed. Thanks ![]() |

Hi breaksbassbleep (?) Did you mean this controller here... http://www.thebackshed.com/Windmill/charger1.asp It does send basic volt and amp data out the serial port. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
