Bugger, I ordered one that reads AC current not DC currentShunt

Will it work or not?

Should I just get another one?
Shunt DC

I wouldnt have thought it made any difference as its measuring a voltage drop across a flat bar.

I wouldn't think the actual shunt itself would make any difference it will be the detection and metering (measuring) circuitry that would make a difference.

I had the same conclusion and for $20 I bought another one.
Justified by the fact I bought the SSR for $20 not $48 Jaycar wanted for it.
