Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Apologies, slightly off topic again!

Just building a new PC and am worried as the front panel cables are not idiot proof for me so I panic, most likely unnecessarily.

HD LED: Orange/white, which is + -?

Reset switch: Red/white, which is GND/Reset?

Power LED: Blue/white, + -?

Power switch: Black/white, GND/PWR?

Google tells me not to worry, if LEDs stay on all the time, then I just reverse the cable, but I better get a second opinion from the forum.

The ASUS manual warns me not to connect a 1394 cable to USB. I have a card reader, which has a thick round cable with markings of AWM 2835 60deg, 30V. Should I panic?

Thanks, worked that one out myself, LEDs connected with the wrong polarity do not burn out motherboards!
