Hi. I just have one cap left to be fitted but only have a 100pf ceramcic cap?
would it be allright to use a ceramic in this application on pin 4 and 13 on the lm723?
as I only have a ceramic one of this vallue.

yep, ceramic should be fine in that application.

There are some great capacitor tutorials online that might be worth checking out. There are also some really excellent lab power supply design walk through on youtube which will help you get a better understanding of how that power supply design works, and why.

For ease of construction, I use TIP35C instead of 2n3055.
Last one I did had 8 transistors on the output for 80 amps outputs... much easier with TO-247 shape... would not like doing that with TO-3... just a thought if you have not done the hardware yet.
