Amber has been very sick and we had a friend and a few family members pass away

So I haven't had much time to be online

the friend that passed away had his electric turned back on

because of some of the great people on this site

My big inverter has been doing great it will start and run anything and everything at once

It has the 10000w 24 mosfet china inverter board

It also has a Factory made over 50 pound 5000 watt toroidal Transformer

and the huge toroidal ferrite choke that me and amber made

I've had it hooked up with solar panels make Sky Blue mppt charge controller and 8 batteries continuously in bus for several months now

The little inverter has been doing great also I gave it to my dad

Very impressed with it

It is the one that Poida the Great walked me through every step

It has the little $30 4 mosfet China inverter board in it

It was upgraded to
hy4008 mosfets

Two 18,000uf caps

Square Style choke

And a homemade almost 30 lb toroidal Transformer

The new Power Jack Sean gave us still has not been used

And the 2014 model Power Jack still waiting for The Nano to get programmed

I have 2 Nano boards built but have never figured out how to program them yet

I sent a friend a set of the little Power Jack mosfet boards

for him to try out one day when he gets the extra time

It is a non paid job just out of the goodness of his heart

I don't have the time to mess with it at the moment so I am not in a hurry at all

the good thing about it is when he does get the extra time he will be honest and thorough

he is one of the Greats

a incredible human being

if you're in a hurry and don't want to wait on the testing results

Kentfield dude (the designer) was nice enough to make the file to have them made free to everyone

I am thankful for this site and the people on it

thay have helped teach me electronics and how to build and repair my own inverter

These people ask for nothing from you in return

just happy to be helping to make other people's life better

In the days we live in the whole world could learn a lot from this site

I truly believe what goes around comes around

I pray it will come back 10 times greater

Sorry to hear about your recent troubles Ben.

Glad all the inverters are working well for you and your friends.

Being independent for power needs is very satisfying.

With that working compete power jack, you may as well sell that, you can make something better anyway, so why hang onto it.

Mark I really appreciate you

You have always encouraged me

And it seems like you always do at the perfect time

I would like to sell the Power Jack

the person would have to come try it out it

Know the history of Power Jack

And buy it without warranty as is

the inverters are all doing well

Because you and others was patient with me and give me good advice

It took me a little while to realize that I didn't know what I thought I knew

Hi Ben ,

First ,sorry to hear about Amber being sick ,hope she has recovered now.

I am interested in the latest inverter that you made with a power jack electronics board .

I have searched your posts but cannot seem to find the relevant series of the building stages. Could you e-mail or send me a post with some info ,I'd like to follow it.

Bruce thanks for your kind words

I haven't done anything with the little Power Jack boards yet

I may get a chance to mess with them

I have sent a set of them out to a friend and when he gets a chance he might try them out

Have you looked at them to see if the components marked on the boards look right

I have a working power jack I could switch them out in pretty quick

if I had confidence that I wouldn't blow anything up except for the mosfets

I have this old control board for Power Jack
If it might help with your testing Poida

It is 50 hertz in 230 volt

This would be useful for me.

I can't get any signal out of the self repaired driver board and I wonder if
I fixed it or there are other issues on the main control board.

Meanwhile I have had lots of fun playing with different ideas
using the powerjack power board and the little MOS boards.
The design of this makes it fast, easy and simple to change things over to the new test.

I will do some function testing using the little boards as you intended later when this board arrives. First test using one HY4008, then test it again using 3 HY4008.
All tests using the suggested component values Kentfielddude has on the silkscreen.

I'll get that sent out in the next couple days poida

All inverters are still doing perfect I've had the big one hooked up for a few months now

For the last month or so I've just been leaving it on whether I'm at the bus or not

I've got lights set up to where they come on automatically at dark

Has anyone heard from ladyN
