Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

1% is quite good. You must be using quality resistors.

To get closer try 8.72k... or is it 8.88k? One or the other should do it ;)

Next time I'll be ordering from LCSC I'll get some more values from E48/E96 range.
It is good enough for now.

Hi gaspo
i am about to make a couple of probes my self and was wondering on the power consumption.

The documentation seas 50ma witch is probably a bit high for a 9v battery.
Any recommendations on weather i should yous 2 x 18650's or a 9v battery is ok

thanks

I recorded a current of approximately 53mA, and with a discharge rate of 50mA, the Duracell 9V battery would only sustain this for approximately 8 hours.
Alternatively, opting for 2x 18650 batteries in series would provide a duration of over 100 hours, or utilizing a 9-12V wall adapter is also a viable option.
