hi all
maybe the re tradies might know something about this inverter sold by australian solar distributors W.A.,i was looking through the owners manual that came with the inverter and the specs say its mod square wave with reactive power control sooo is this one of those evil inverters Meggawatt Man wrote about 2 pages of what bad things that msw inverters do to switchmode power supplies?i know that my fan hums when connected to cheap sola 12V UPS box during long power outage but runs fine on apc smartups [pure sine wave]as if were on mains power

hi all
atempted to fire the inverter up but only runs for seconds before it shutdowns,plugged a fan in and it does run the fan but being mod square wave the fan hummed so it would only could for a supplying a mig or stick welder or a diversion inverter for 240v ac hot water/fan heaters with a 2.4kva continuous rating if i or a electronics guy i know could fix it or pull the centre tap tranny for a big block off peak main battery charger for my 650ah 24v lucent gell batties and ill make a separate heading for the charger
