Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

The charge controller is slowly taking shape
Im using a plastic case that was lying around with a hunk of aerosharp inverter heat sink bolted to the back.
Thers a slot cut into the back of the case for the fets to mount on the heat sink
and the controller and display mount on the door

The Electronics is coming together, After my early run in with a dud cpu
everything is running as expected.

Looks like il use an old aerosharp core for the choke.

Yes, very nice, and thanks for posting the clear photos.

I was just today admiring the boards that I had ordered, this will be my next project, I have everything I need to get one going, but not before cleaning up the mess I've created with my last project.
.
It's all too hard.

If I may ask, what are the features of this MPPT? Also, can WIFI module be integrated in it where you can get the all readings display on your mobile phone?

soudirector:

no wifi and never will be.
The mppt software is designed to be simple and robust.

wifi is neither simple nor robust

If you examine the code you will see that another microcontroller (such as
a ESP32 based board with wifi) may obtain the mppt data via USB connection and serial
data.
eg. send "^" plus char(13) and you will receive the mppt's output Amps

I will not support any effort to program the ESP32 or others for external data access.
It will be up to those who want it to make it happen.
wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers
