Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Bryan1 said  Morning Rodger I went thru the same thing yesterday uploaded a photo and it said I need a written statement and no where to put it. So I just did the option of I no longer want it and about an hour later got an email saying I was getting a full refund.

I'm glad it wasn't just me that had trouble finding that. I got an email later last night with a free-post label to send it back and saying the refund cant go through until they receive it back, which is fair enough I suppose. Funnily enough it's going to Sydney, not China.

The most frustrating part is I have to do quite a bit of work to remove the shunt and then fit the old one again.

It was the first time in 6 months I'd turned the Warpverter off to fit it all a couple weeks ago  ...  and now have to do it again.

  wiseguy said  Just above the area where you click to upload a video or picture are the words;

"Please provide valid proof or you may consider "No longer needed" as the return option in case you're uncertain of the proof"  - This is actually a very cleverly disguised invitation.

If you place the mouse cursor anywhere within that writing and start typing the writing disappears and is replaced with your typing. That is how I sent the message with the picture.

Thanks very much again Mike, no wonder I couldn't find it. I did wonder if it was a trick question or purposely done so it doesn't reflect on them so much perhaps. Makes it look like I just changed my mind and not that the item was faulty.

phil99 said  Not directly related to the scams above, but if the shipping is too cheap the goods often don't arrive. After 2 months AE do arrange a refund after a bit of back and forth with the vendor offering a refund of $0.00. However after that time you still haven't got what you want.

Perhaps everyone already knows this but I just recently found you can change the shipping method by clicking "Shipping: AU$x.xx ". 'Cainiao Super Economy Global' is unreliable but 'AliExpress standard shipping' hasn't failed yet.

eg.
  Quote  Shipping method

Shipping: AU$1.05
Delivery: Mar 10 - 12 ,item ships within 10 days
via Cainiao Super Economy Global
Tracking unavailable   ...............

Thanks Phil, I definitely did not know that  ...  so something else I'll look out for in future.

I guess it's nice to get free shipping but not at the expense of not receiving an item  ...  and I occasionally would be prepared to pay more to get bits quicker if there was an emergency.

I hope to take advantage of having it apart tomorrow to fit the fan and fan control as well. Have been a bit slack.

Thanks again for all the pointers.
Cheers,  Roger
