Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

My stepper driver is working and... is selling in Czech Republic. This prove that firmware is working right (the manufacturer is producing it with two firmware options - half and full step). I'm providing only half step firmware but having the source (C, Pascal and JAL), anyone can modify it.
Congratulations to them!Edited by vasi 2010-01-17

Looks good Vasi.

You must be happy with the results.

I just finished a 08m picaxe bipolar stepper driver board to run the steppers used in bubblejet printers (4 wire steppers) although direction is done in software as the 08m dont have the extra input like the pic for direction and step control.

You can pic that to if you want, and then you will have a bipolar version as well.
I tend to find more bipolars used than unipolar.

Only problem with using a 8 pin chip with bipolar you cant get half stepping as the pins are shared by both coils.

Pete.

Thank you all!
Of course I'm not involved in that in any way . Anyone can use it for commercial purpose but I will be glad to have an image or a link to their work (I discovered it by looking at google analytics - maybe they had no courage or interest to "throw" a link...).
