hi,

i am new here. I know the mechcanical side but not the eletrical side. What are some good books or sites or other ways to learn about these genterators and the other electronics that go with a wind generator.

Is there any software for designing generatorsandtheproblems of trial & error

Dont know of any really good links, but Google should help. Try searching with words like generator, alternator, rectifier. That will get you started.
