Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hey Guys.
Been busy with toys and work (not in the same league )... Anyway, I've come across some old (5yr max) servers with UPS units in them. I felt like a kid in a candy store! I've removed all the hard drives (600+ 360gb scuzzy buss), circuit boards, looms from 3 cabinets. The battery packs, chargers and supply units remain in 2.
I feel that they need a new home.
Now. Here's the kicker. How to reuse them... (See photos)
26 off 43V @ 6400mAh battery's and 12 off 240VAC 3Phase - 2 x 56VDC @ 26A power supply's.
Looks like they have very clean AC. Could be good for wind genny?
Thanks Russ
I'm finding it difficult to find any diagrams and pin-outs for them.

Hi
With a bit of a fiddle on the voltage set looks like it could be adapted to a 48 volt solar system
All the best

Giday Bob.
Yes, my thoughts also. I've dismantled 1 power supply and figure they could be split up. The 240VAC input filters could.
I enjoy electronics, thou it's not my strong point. Jack of all trades, master of none... so to speak. Obtaining circuit and wiring diagrams will be a problem!
I have spare units if your interested in playing with one yourself
The battery packs appear to have axillary sensing/control wiring in them.
I'll dismantle one to see whats going on.
Oh, I've also picked up a Power Shield Commander PSCR2000. A 1.2kW pure sine wave UPS. I hope to connect 4 off those 240Ah AGM batterys to it for some free power. I'm still looking for a manual for this one also.
Anyone know how or where to find some info on this stuff?
