Friends,

Not wishing to detract from this excellent forum, but those interested in MPPT may find this diary entry in Fieldlines.com very interesting. According to Amanda, this schematic needs a PWM input and a few more bits to make it a MPPT system.

The chip is a buck/boost one made by Linear Technology. A simulation is enclosed of his circuit.

There are also all sorts of good news stories (myths??) about ultracapacitor storage and nanowire storage systems to replace our trusted lead-acid ones. See the storage section.
