Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hiya Guys,
It seems quite a few forum members ask simple questions asking about voltage, current etc. now this freeware calculator I've used since version 1 and I find it very handy working out RE and electronics stuff. It's a simple yet effective calculator and I'm sure some of you guys will like it.

Cheers Bryan

Thanks Bryan1,

installed it. Had a play, should save me a bit of time
scribbling calculations while designing. Also allows me
to tweak values to the range I need.

All good

sPuDd..
It should work ...in theory

Hi,

Downloaded the program but during installation it also wanted to download

.NET Framework 2.0

with a download time of one hour on dial-up. Is this software required? What is wrong here???

Thanks.

That sucks.

It means at some time in the recent past the software authors recompiled the program in VB.Net, it originally would have been written in VB6 ( or earlier ).

I'm not a fan of VB.Net, even though I write a lot of VB software. Its a case of if it isn't broken, why upgrade for the sake up upgrading? I still write most stuff in VB6 and classic ASP.

I'm afraid Dom you will have to download the .net run time files if you want to use this version of the electronics calculator program, or see if they have a previous version on their web site. At least once you have installed the .net framework you wont have to download it again in the future.

Hiya Dom,
Mate I have isdn here so I'm on downloading that file now as I can save it as an .exe file. If you like I can burn a cdr and mail it over to you.

Just let me know and I'm more than happy to help.

Cheers Bryan

If your paying more than $12.95 a month or have a download limit your paying the wrong people perhaps.
