Hi Guy's,
Tonight I bit the bullet and ordered a pickit3 as my good trusty ICD2 clone from Olimex won't do the pic32 chip for the maximite. Now my ICD2 has become surplus and I will let it go for $65 which is under 1/2 of what it cost me 3 years ago. For programming any of the the pic chips apart from the newest high end 32 bit chips the ICD2 will do the job and Microchip have said they will still support it when the new Mplab X comes out. So although I have out grown it the ICD2 is still a great programmer. The ICD2 has USB and serial comms too.
