Hi,

Just wondering if anybody knows of any F&P motors laying around in the UK please? Ideally East Anglia...

Hi Rivergypsy,
I Guess from your handle you are perhaps a " Liveaboard" on a boat of some kind ?
I nearly did the same some years back , but am now retired early in rural France trying to live a low impact lifestyle.
Any ways looking on ebay couple of weeks ago saw a top loading F&P machine in working order for about �40.
Also look out for some LG machines which have nearly identical motors.
Some Philips (now Whirlpool) machines of about 20 years old also had pm motors that looked more like a car alternator.You could tell them by a variable spin speed knob on the front.
I have ordered a F&P motor from AU for about �47 inc shipping - but will have to wait 2-3 months via sea carrier.
