Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Quote  Been testing the clock for about 24 hours and it is already 10 seconds slow.

This is completely untested even to the extent of knowing it runs as I don't have my development environment with me but please let me know if it works:

2018-11-24_004714_Armmite1.3.zip

There is a new option
OPTION RTC CALIBRATE n

n can be between -511 and + 512. n specifies the number of extra clock pulses to be "created" or "removed" every 2^20 real clock pulses. If my maths are correct therefore a change of +/-1 should equate to about 0.0824 seconds per day.

This is a permanent option so will stay active unless the chip is reflashed or options are reset but can be changed with a new OPTION command. Option LIST will report the value if it is non-zero.

To avoid confusion I have now also removed RTC GETTIME as it is completely superfluous. TIME$ and DATE$ are always retrieved directly from the RTC

Does the .bin file method work for the H7? If so, can you include it in releases?

Using OPTION RTC CALIBRATE seems to be working OK.

Removed H7 from the package for the first time, set up jumpers and solder bridges, plugged it in, got the folder pop-up, copied in the .bin file, started puTTY, and voila, success!

Thanks much for all of your work.

Got a notice today from Digikey that the original Nucleo-H7 is at "End of Life". There is a substitute/later model indicated, the NUCLEO-H743ZI2, but when I click on the link for it, I get "Page not found".

After a brief search, I was unable to find what was new on the ZI2.

I can see Farnell have the original board as no longer manufactured and the new one is here but I don't see a price or qty yet.

Thanks but yes, I saw that. I was confirming about the new board and showing some info about it.

I'm not yet clear when the new one will be available, its price or a full list of changes - anyone know?

Any chance to port to Stm32f767zi? In my country (Brazil) this board is easy to find.

I don't know if anyone has asked about this... Any chance to make a VGA software out like the Colour Maximite?

My intention is to port some libs and games from CMM to it.

See this thread but note this isn't a port that I can commit to really support.

No, not on the STM32, but the Micromite eXtreme (MMX) has full 640x480 VGA and a different but very powerful sprite implementation.
